Chunli Sunshine Program
Introduction
Total hip/knee arthroplasty is the most effective treatment for severe joint diseases. As a mature therapy widely used globally, it is hailed as a key milestone in 20th-century orthopedic development.
In recent years, the number of arthroplasty patients has been rising, but high surgical costs prevent some poor patients from accessing treatment. To address this, Beijing Chunlizhengda Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. and China Charity Federation jointly launched the "Chunli Sunshine Program" in 2009.
Now marking its 16th year, the "Chunli Sunshine Program" has donated prosthetics worth 20 million yuan, with 80 designated hospitals nationwide ensuring poor patients receive both assistance and top-tier surgical treatment.
To promote humanitarianism, charity, and the Chinese virtue of aiding the needy, Beijing Chunli, China Charity Federation, and partner hospitals will strive to alleviate the suffering of impoverished joint disease patients soon.
