Modular Hip Prosthesis

This product is composed of a proximal hip component, an osteotomy segment, a total femoral connector, a femoral intramedullary pin, an adjustment shim, a main body, an additive-manufactured component, and a locking screw. Among these parts, the additive-manufactured component and adjustment shim are made of titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V ELI) powder compliant with GB/T 13810 via the electron beam melting (EBM) process, while the proximal hip component, osteotomy segment, total femoral connector, femoral intramedullary pin, main body, and locking screw are manufactured from forged titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) in accordance with GB/T 13810.

Scope of Application

The modular hip joint prosthesis is indicated for hip replacement in the presence of bone defects, including those caused by hip bone tumors, severe comminuted fractures, bone defects resulting from multiple revision arthroplasties, and other diseases leading to hip bone defects. This product is intended for use with components of the same system from the manufacturer; upon assembly, it is fixed intramedullarily with bone cement.
