Hip joint prosthesis component
The hip prosthesis components consist of a tantalum trabecular femoral stem and a tantalum trabecular metal outer cup, which are fabricated from a titanium alloy substrate compliant with YY 0117.1. The proximal end of the femoral stem and the surface of the outer cup feature a tantalum trabecular porous structure. This structure is formed by depositing pure tantalum material that meets YY/T 0966 onto a reticulated vitreous carbon scaffold via chemical vapor deposition (CVD), followed by attachment to the titanium alloy substrate surface through diffusion welding. The product is sterilized by gamma ray irradiation, with a 5-year sterilization validity period.
