Light-cured glass ionomer cement
Light-cured glass ionomer cement is a dental material that combines the advantages of rapid light-cured shaping and the fluoride-releasing properties of traditional glass ionomers. It is composed of fluorine-containing aluminosilicate glass powder, polyacrylic acid, photoinitiators and other ingredients. It can be rapidly cured under irradiation with a visible light curing lamp, while being continuously strengthened through acid-base reaction, and releases fluoride ions for a long time to prevent secondary caries. This material boasts excellent biocompatibility, chemical adhesion to dental hard tissues and a coefficient of thermal expansion close to that of dentin.
